Moustache fun part 2

Finally!! Here's part 2 of moustache fun. I had to cut out a lot of moustaches and secured them on my wall with washitape on the back ;) If i'm fed up with the pink i can also use the black side on the back or easily remove them all. What do you think?

Eindelijk!! Deel 2 van de snorren fun. Ik heb heel wat snorretjes uitgeknipt voordat ik ze op de muur kon plakken :) Ik heb ze op de muur geplakt met washi tape, dus ik kan ze gemakkelijk omdraaien om de zwarte kant te gebruiken of ze helemaal te verwijderen. En wat vindt je?

diy -make your own inspiration garland-

To make mine i've used: a piece of pink twine, a polaroid picture, punched out washi tape shapes, a piece of felt+ribbon+embroidery thread, 2 handmade cards, a (fake) pink flower, little pegs and washi tape to secure it on the wall. I'm very happy how it turned out ❤

Ik heb het volgende gebruikt: een stuk roze twine draad, een poloraid foto, geponste washi tape vormen, een stukje vilt+lint+borduurgaren, 2 zelfgemaakte kaartjes, een roze (nep) bloem, kleine knijpertjes en twee stukjes washi tape om alles mee op te hangen. Ik ben erg blij met het resultaat ❤

diy -make spring punches with washi tape-

you will need:

-washi tape

-scissors

-(white) paper

-punches (flower+butterfly)

je hebt nodig:

-washi tape

-schaar

-(wit) papier

-ponsen (bloem+vlinder)

First you will start with taping your washi tape onto your paper.

Make sure it's the right size before you start to use your punches!

Je begint eerst met het bevestigen van je washi tape op het papier.

Dit doe je door ze in stroken naast elkaar te plakken. Begin pas met

ponsen als je zeker weet dat de banen breed genoeg zijn!

Time to start punching, yay! You can use

the border and the punched out shapes, at least i did ;)

Tijd om de figuurtjes te ponsen, jeeee! Ik heb zowel

de rand als de uitgeponste figuurtjes gebruikt ;)

You can use them for cards, on your scrapbookpages on gift tags or even make a pretty garland of them. Have fun with creating your own creations :D

Je kunt ze gebruiken op kaarten, op je scrapbookcreaties, op cadeaulabels of er een mooie slinger van maken. Veel plezier met het maken van je eigen creaties :D

green & blue

I was so inspired by Leslie's post (that she made over at Decor8) that i wanted to share it with you :) It's probably because i miss the blue sky and i love that our garden is turning 'green' again. It's fresh & inspiring, don't you think? Leslie also has a lovely blog ❤

Ik was zo geinspireerd toen ik Leslie's post zag bij Decor 8 & wilde het gewoon even delen :) Misschien komt het wel omdat ik de blauwe lucht mis, terwijl ik geniet van mijn tuin die weer heerlijk groen is. And it's Monday again :D I hope you had a great weekend?! Yesterday i finally had some time to craft and i choose to repair and make some bracelets and necklaces & i even had time to start a new painting! Pictures will follow, but first i have to make them ha ha 

I don't know what's wrong with the internet wire today but it's slow and from time to time there is no connection.... maybe a silent hint to tell me to have a internet free day ;) Well i have planned to have a crafty ALONE afternoon at my lovely craftspace and i don't want to spend to many hours behind the computer. However i will be printing out some great crochet tutorials that i found at the internet. You probably will recognize the fact that there are a lot of great ideas out there and you pin them or blog about them, but you don't exactly store them somewhere (at least i don't). I don't like to crochet with a laptop in front of me so i print out these tutorials and store them together in my 'crochet inspiration folder' that i'm making this afternoon. Maybe also an idea for you? XO. Vera

En het is weer maandag :D Hopelijk heb je een leuk weekend gehad?! Gister had ik eindelijk weer eens tijd om te 'craften'. Ik heb kapotte armbanden en kettingen gemaakt, maar ook nieuwe creaties & ik had zelfs tijd om met een nieuw schilderij te beginnen! Foto's volgen nog, maar die moet ik eerst nog maken hi hi


Ik weet niet wat er precies met de internetverbinding is, maar hij is sloom en van tijd tot tijd is er geen verbinding.... misschien een stille hint om vandaag internet vrij door te brengen ;) Dat geeft niks, want ik heb eindelijk een middag voor mezelf  & die ik ga doorbrengen op mijn gezellige knutselzolder en wel zoveel mogelijk zonder computer ;) Ik ga wel wat leuke haakideetjes uitprinten en er een verzamelboekje van maken. Persoonlijk vind ik het namelijk reuze onhandig om te haken met een laptop voor mijn neus en geef ik echt de voorkeur aan een lekker ouderwets uitgeprint op een papiertje :) Misschien ook een leuk ideetje voor jou? Crochet with your twine

I have a small collection of twine which i'm very happy with :) Twine isn't really cheap and to only use it for packages well that's a pity right? So i wanted to give it a try to crochet with my twine (i already tried it with my paper twine). Okay i must admit that it's kind of tricky but you can manage and the results are just lovely ❤ If you don't want to invest or spend much money on bigger rolls of twine, you can buy samples in several different colors and give it a try :D

Ik heb een kleine verzameling van twine draad, waar ik erg blij mee ben :) Twine is best prijzig en om het nu alleen te gebruiken om in te pakken is ook zonde toch? Dus ik wilde eens proberen of je er ook mee kunt haken (dat had ik al geprobeerd met de papieren variant!). Okay het is soms wat lastiger, maar het kan zeker! Ik vind de resultaten ook erg leuk geworden ❤ Als je geen grote rollen wilt kopen, kun je ook kiezen voor 'samples' of te wel kleinere varianten van de twine. Ik zou zeggen probeer het eens :D

XO5 -vegetable garden-

I've been dreaming of a (mini) vegetable garden for a few years & finally i've started a little one. Even if you don't have a lot of space (like i have) it's possible (really!). Apparently i did it the urban way :D I used apple crats (it's that the correct name for it?) and placed them on the right side of my garden and made a little row. Since i'm so in to vegetable gardens i wanted to make this Friday post all about them :D Enjoy!

Ik droom al een paar jaar van een (mini) moestuin & ben er nu dan eindelijk met 1 begonnen. Zelfs met weinig ruimte is het mogelijk! Ik heb een paar appelkisten eerst bekleedt met antiworteldoek aan de binnenkant, toen hydrokorrels onderin gedaan en daarna de aarde erover heen gestrooid en klaar ben je. Schijnbaar is dit de 'urban way' :D Ik vind het nu al geweldig en nu hopen dat het allemaal lukt! Deze vrijdag dus nog even wat meer inspiratie voor jullie gezocht, geniet!

Pretty flower coasters

Yvestown has a great blog that i've been following for years, but she also has a yarn shop. That's where i saw this great tutorial that i also started making :) Here are 2 of my flower coasters.
