Another cute headband

Want to win this purple crochet headband with flowers?
Leave a link or write me an email (seniwithlove@hotmail.com)

Good luck!!

And the winners are...

Hi there :) I received one comment and one very sweet email. Lissi wrote me an email telling me that she almost daily reads my blog and loves it very much (that makes me smile!!!). She also wrote that she can't leave a comment, because there isn't a matching profile that she can choose from. I don't know if other readers have the same problem? I will make a email link in the right sidebar asap! But for now if you do like to join one of these giveaways you can also send me an email me at seniwithlove@hotmail.com

Oh let's go crazy shall we?! Instead of 1 winner will be having 2 winners :D Marci has won the crochet flower and headband (white with blue stripes) and Lissi won the salmon colored ones. I hope you are both happy :D Wright me an email with your adress and i will send them to you asap. XO. Vera

No one?

I just checked my post and saw that no one left a comment :(  I know that i don't blog everyday and that some of you might have missed the post where i wrote about my little-blog-party-week :D Anyway... i'm going to get dressed, drink coffee, get Elian out of bed and then i'm off for a coffee with a friend.  I will check in later today and see if someone wants to win the crochet summer headband with flower & bracelet (if it's not for you, then for your daughter or some other sweet girl?!)

XO.

Favorite webshops for craftsupplies and inspiration

Over the last few months i have bought all kinds of great craft materials, but i didn't really had time to get started with them. Sure i made creations for the craftmarket, but still i can't wait to get started with some new materials (and ehh projects that are still on my list!). So to be continued :)

Maybe some of you are wondering where i buy my craftmaterials, so i will share 5 of my favorite (Dutch!) webshops. Sorry for my foreign readers! I also like to mention that craftmaterials don't have to be expensive. I buy my craftmaterials at all kinds of stores like: dille & kamille, Beadies, Hema, local craftshops but also at Bruna, het Kruidvat, Blokker, Action etc. Its' really like a big mix and match!

My top 5 of great webshops with crafty stuff and inspiration!

If you're in love with  PAPER and by that i mean writing your own letters, making cute envelops, using pretty papers, coloring books filled with inspiration, cute stamps, masking tape, Japanese paper balloons, Paumes books & pretty illustrations? This is the place to be!

Looking for cute gifts for baby's, weddings, birthday or just for yourself? You might want to take a look over at this cute webshop! Think decorations, giftwrapping supplies, little giftboxes, lucky charm dolls, garlands etc and this is the place to be :)

 nr 3: Hip Handwerk

Cute wooden birdhouses that you can decorate yourself, books, Tilda stuff, cute applications, ribbons, wooden letters, fabrics, patterns for making bags or cute kits to make dinosaurs for example and much much more!

 nr 4: Zuuz

The shop were i buy my twine, paper twine & masking tape.

i recently discovered this webshop when i was looking for i don't know the right word in English... a little pin for the back of my handmade fabric flowers to make it a broche. I ended up with a full shoppingbasket filled with so much cute stuff!! She now has a big sale, so if you're looking for bows, applications, ribbons, hairclips (that you can decorate yourself), buttons, beads, look here :)

See for yourself and let my know what you think :) If you have a great link to a (Dutch) webshop let me know, i love scrolling through them :) XO. Vera

Music Inspiration Monday -lovely song-

still love this song & video ♥

Craft market

Hello hello :) Because is was busy with the craftmarket yesterday i didn't have time to make a post. But i do know that my readers would love to see some pictures, am i right? I was happy that my sweet friend Karin came along, that's so much more fun than sitting alone behind your booth. The day before i practiced the 'table setting' and decided that i would leave lot's of stuff at home. The last time i brought way to much creations with me & you know the saying 'Sometimes less is more' is really true :)

A few of my latest creations ♥

A few peeks of my booth

Unfortunately there weren't a lot of visitors this time :( So it was a quiet sappy day, but on the other hand
i could really catch up with Karin :) There will be another craftmarket in November. I'm planning to go then and hopefully we will have more visitors! Gladly the booth rent is really little, so i even made a little money :) I hope that you've enjoyed reading this post, i loved sharing it :) XO. Vera

Weekly craft inspiration Wednesday -recycled plastic flower-

Yay, i managed to finish my DIY for today (yes a little applause lol) You probably have these materials lying around and you're done in a flash (yes really!). Okay to be honest it's handy to use plastic bags, but they are so so bad for our environment. Not only when you through them away but also the process of making them. So i always try to take my own bags while shopping at stores, so that i can say 'no thanks' if they ask if i want a bag with that :) Supermarkets sometimes have a big plastic ball with holes where you can stash your plastic bags. Why? Well if you forgot your shopping bag, you won't have to buy a new one, you can take one of those. So if you do feel a little guilty about all of your plastic bags, you will now have a way of using them! I made these purple ones for a scrapbook page about a year ago. I recently saw this page and thought hey that's great for a DIY post, so here we go!

DIY -recycled plastic flower-

You will need:
-a plastic bag
-scissors
-embroidery thread
-sewing needle
cut out several circles in different sizes
- take your sewing needle and embroidery thread
-tie a knot at one end of your thread and pull the
other end through the needle
- stitch the needle from the bottom up and pull
make 3 other stitches so that you will have a little cross

-fold your 'flower' like you want it and make
a few extra stitches
-pull your thread tighter this way your flower
will get his 'shape'
it's important that you have one or two pieces
that are a little folded on the back and they have
a little overlap
If you like you can cut it in the shape of a flower,
you can staple 2 or three circles and sew them
together (use different colors) etc

Happy crafting! XO. Vera

Toffee Magazine

I'm not a big fan of online magazines, but the Toffee magazine is really awesome!! I bought the first one a while ago but didn't post anything over at my blog, don't know why i didn't (i blame it on the pregnancy hormons). Anyway i just wanted to let you know about this awesome magazine. If you don't like to read it on a screen just print the magazine and bind it together. This way you can enjoy reading it on the couch with a cup of coffee. The magazine also has craftpages that you can use (you can print as many as you like!). Check it out here and tell me what you think :) XO. Vera
