Happy Sunday..

Yay, yay finally some time to blog! It's still a little puzzle for me to fit in my tiny! list that i usually make for one day. Even the smallest things seem to stay put on my list. I'm so happy with our little boy, but also with the little moments that i have for myself... and that means don't think big! Just taking a shower, washing my hair, wair my pretty dress, polish my nails (pink!), read a magazine, drink a cup of coffee, watch one of my fav series (private practice, gilmore girls and pretty soon a new season of grey's antomy and dhw). 

The rythem of Elian is changin' since a week or two, so he's more awake during the day and sleeps in the evening and during the night.  That means that he's developing his day/night rythem & hopefully mommy get's some more sleep soon :) A while back i received two lovely handmade bear hats, one was made by Evy (that one is still a little to big) and the other by Inkie. Look how cute he looks ♥ Thanxx again sweet girls!

DIY -bracelet with twine-

Hi! I already made this DIY last Sunday but unfortunately i didn't have time to place it sooner. The funny thing is that right after Elian was born a lot of people thought 'let's wait before we pay them a visit' and now everyone is calling at the same time ha ha So this week i'm busy with friends, relatives etc who are visiting us to admire our baby boy :D Unfortunately i also got ill :( i had a fever and my body was hurting all over, gladly i recovered fast! However i was also a little reminder that i do have to make sure that i will take my rest, since i haven't slept more then three hours in a row for a month now ;) So that was a little update about me... now it's time for today's DIY!

DIY -bracelet with twine-

  

 supplies:

-wooden bracelet

-twine 

-glue that you can use on wood

-scissors

 add the glue on the bracelet and make sure it's on the

front, back, top and bottem so that your twine

stays in place once you're finished

 when you're ready it looks like this

So wanne stay here...

I found this picture over at Pinterest and guess what!? It's a campingsite in the Netherlands, so that means you can really stay here! This would be perfect for our 'first' little family outing. Not far from home, lot's of nature around and on a sweet little camping site. You can rent a caravan or a 'pippo wagen'. Just take a look over at their website 3 Akers and i think you will feel the same way like i do ;) You sooo want to pack your bags and go, like... right now ♥

Just a little romance...

I just love to use flowers as home decoration.

Even if you have one single flower in a vase,

you already have a small 'party'. 

I just love to walk into a flowershop or gardencentre,

it immediately makes me happy. I can't really explain

what comes over me the minute i walk in, but i will give it a go. 

It sorta feels like walking into a magical place, were i start

smiling when i enter and i feel like dancing and singing (don't

worry i won't ha ha). I just love beeing surrounded by flowers 

and plants, so i can't wait for spring to start so that i can

work in the garden again! The sun is shining here today and

although it's cold, i've just sat outside and drank my coffee..

just a little magic already ♥

If i had some time..

I would love to make such pretties as these! I've made bows with big ribbons, by knitting and with cute fabrics, but so far i haven't made bows with felt (and also crochet ones are on my list!) I started surching and found a great DIY at Tara Reeves blog on how to make felt bows.

I really should make a list for myself with craft ideas for 'later', this way i won't forget al these cute ideas that i found or that are floating in my head! I must say that i would love to start with making small projects again... mmm think i will finish knitting my scarf first & then we will see :) Knitting and crochet projects are just perfect because i can do them downstairs by sitting on the couch without to much materials (and that is really handy right now). Our little boy Elian is a sleep right now, so i'm using this  time to write this blog, checking my email and drink my tea. I've done all of these things so now i'm off to take a shower.... XO. Vera

Selina Lake

Yay finally a little time to really finish my blogpost! I'm not getting much sleep at night, so i do try to take a nap in the afternoon when Elian is also a sleep. My days are still filled with feeding, eating, sleeping, making walks outside and taking care of sweet little Elian. Yesterday i had my first little outing alone on my bike! In between feedings i went to the post office and i bought some magazines. I know it doesn't sound like anything special, but for me it was!

Enough babytalk for now :P Today's blogpost is all about inspiration from Selina Lake. A while back i bought her first book and fell in love with it! I've made a little collection with pictures that i find really full with inspiration... here we go!
