Our little Elian is born ♥

Last night our son Elian has finally arrived!

time to relax...

During the whole pregnancy i still managed to blog and that's all because i love doing so! The last week however i noticed that sitting behind the computer also makes me tired. So that's why i've decided that this will be my last post before the baby is born. I really need to clear my head and i think that by doing this my mind will get empty...

I want to thank my readers for all of your

sweet comments! I can't imagine a world without all of you!

Off course i will let you know when our little baby boy is

born and that should be any day now ;)

DIY -yarn flower-

Hello hello! Probably my last DIY post for a while ;)

I already made these yarn flowers almost one year ago, but they are still so cute and decorative! Something we need in the last part of the winter to make our home more cozy :) There are different ways to make these yarn flowers and you must choose the way you like most!

DIY -yarn flowers-

You will need:

-small vases (in different sizes)

-branches (decorative ones or ones that you've found outside)

-yarn in different colors

I made round yarn balls by starting to wind it around my finger at the beginning and then i started by holding it and winding it round and round. Stop winding when you think your yarn ball is big enough and cut the yarn. You can glue the end of your yarn or just pull it through another thread so that you won't see it anymore (make sure it's really stuck!). Stick your yarn ball on to your branch and see if you like the size of it. I didn't use glue to secure them, but made sure i 'turned' them on tight. Make as many as you like and put them in different vases or all in one, have fun!

baby stuff...

Nope still no little baby ;) Doing nothing is killing, so i just made a little mosaic with pictures from babyshowers organised by bake-a-boo , so so cute! We don't honour this tradition here in the Netherlands, but i would certainly love to ♥

I'm gonna make little giftbags for our family and close friends, so that's why i ordered a few sweet things yesterday over at 'het zijstraatje'. I just received them in my mailbox, so i will get started.... like now :)

Today's post started when i found this drawing last night, when i was looking at pinterest.com. It's from the cartoon serie Candy Candy, that i watched when i was a little girl. It inspired me for today's eye candy post. Scrolling through lots and lots of images i found these colorful, happy and yummie peeks over at pinterest. Enjoy!

Today i bought some bulbs for the garden and tulips for the livingroom, so it feels a little like spring :) Even the temperature outside does, it's 10 degrees (like it!!).

I also had my weekly checkup for the baby and my mom went along with me :D After my afternoon nap and spending some time behind the computer, it's now time to grab a blanket and watch the movie 'Prince of Persia'.... don't feel like doing much.....

After we had lunch (saturday) at the beach, Harold went for a walk by the sea. I can't really manage that anymore, so i brought some magazines with me. The place were we had lunch also has a little lounge space with big red chairs, pillows and even a woodstove, so i managed just fine :)

When i was reading 'Ariadne at home' a Dutch magazine for home decoration i read a little interview with Martine who just loves paper. When i got home i looked up her blog and website and i just love it!! Here a few things from her shop:

i just can't get enough...

I just can't get enough of tulips! Really one of my favorite flowers and i'm glad they are in the flowershops again. I mostly buy the multicolored ones or a package in shades of pink... Last year i've placed several bulbs in our garden and i think i'm gonna get some tomorrow :)

I know you are all curious about our baby boy, who is still enjoying his time inside my belly :) Tomorrow i will have my weekly checkup again and i'm gonna combine that with buying some bulbs, tulips and also picking up my pictures. I can't sit around waiting and doing nothing, so i've kept some things on my to-do list and i'm glad that i did ;)

I'm finally seeing some blue sky today, yay!! Think i'm going to spend some time upstairs in my studio to do some crafting! Have a lovely Sunday ♥

When the seasons are changing (or when they are going to change in a bit!) i always pay a visit to the Bloomingville website. I love to scroll through their pictures that i find so inspirational! After a few rainy days and sitting much indoors lately, we're going to the beach today. It's a one hour drive away, so just perfect for some fresh air and lunch!
