DIY -restyle your tin cans-

Hi :) I just made this post at over at the birds blog and decided to copy it for my readers as well xD I just love restyling things that are old or that you just don't like anymore :) I haven't had the time to make a DIY for you, so instead i've found three DIY's that you make. a little new wardrobe for the fall

Yesterday my order from the Hennes and Maurits arrived and i'm gonna try these pretties on after i finished blogging :) I hope it all fits! Since my belly is growing i will be needing some new clothes. Since this is a hole new world for me i've chatted with some girlfriends that already had that experience. A lot of stores don't sell mommy clothes, so i'm ordering through the internet (that's also works for me). Since it's still vacation and Harold is also enjoying his free days, i'm not blogging everyday... but enough to keep you busy right ;) We're enjoying spending time together. We don't like planning to much ahead, this way you can have time for sitting in the garden, reading your book, watching a movie and also for spontanious things like walking in the forest, visiting my brother and his girlfriends new house etc

This saturday we have a wedding! I've already bought my outfit in April, a cute purple dress with little white dots from Mexx. Hopefully it still fits xD I'm gonna try them on just, like my new fall clothes... can't wait!! Have a great day ❤

When we got back from our holiday i ordered these

fabulous hoooked zpagetti & you can say i'm hooked too xD

What is zpagetti?

Hooked zpagetti is a kind of yarn that you can use to crochet or knit. The size of the zpagetti is XXL and that's bigger then the normal size of yarn. Because of the size you also need bigger crochet and knitting-needle. Hoooked zpagetti is made from leftovers from the fashion and textile industry. The collection is changing all the time because of the fashion. Most of the wire substance is 95% cotton and 10% elasthaan or lycra. So you can even wash your creations in the washingmachine on a low temperature (put it in a pillowcase).

There are patterns that you can follow, but it's mostly freestyling. The thickniss of the wire substance isn't always the same, so you will have to get started and see how it goes. You can make bags, knit around your puff, vases etc the options are endless...

Online sewing class for beginners

When i received an email from the lovely

Leigh-Ann i immediatly signed up for

this online class! For more information or if you want

to join, look here. I bought a sewingmachine

last winter and i have been working with it,

but not as much as i would like. Sometimes it's really

a 'problem' if you want to learn to many things at the same

time. Like learning how to sew, crochet, knit.... ha ha

I'm really lovin' it all, but sometimes i have so many

different things in my head that i want to make & not enough

time. That's why i write ideas down in my notebook ;)

I'm back!

Hi :) We're back from Terschelling & had such a wonderful time! Terschelling is one of the five Dutch islands up in the north of the Netherlands. We just love coming here ❤ It's so relaxed... We park our car on the other side, take the boat and rent a bike for the days that we are spending here. The beach, dunes, moor and forest are close by and you don't have to survive any traffic jams, just take your bike! There are a lot of places where you don't any people at all or just a few. Part of our vacation at Terschelling our good friends Luus & Niek were also her at the island. We were staying close by, so it was easy to hook up xD

They have a biological garden were you can pick flowers, strawberries, blueberries etc You go out into the fields and pay at such an idyllic gardenhouse! Inside you can buy all kinds of handmade jam & juices there and drink fresh smoothies or a fresh mint tea. We picked our own strawberries, soo yummie! I even bought seeds, so that i can grow some wild flowers in my own garden xD i just adore this place ❤❤❤❤

More creations!

Even though it's hot and it has been for a while now, i just have to craft. So instead of crafting at the attic i take my things downstairs (have to walk the stairs several times) and sit in the livingroom or outside. I thougth this was the perfect solution, but Harold doesn't like it very much (and i really can imagine). So i try to do small projects and clean afterwards (what i normally don't do at my craftspace), this way i can keep it nice and tidy.

I'm really happy with our garden,

i'm enjoying it everyday :)

However i do dream about a bigger garden,

with a pretty pavilion in the back.

That would be my studio :)

I can use it to paint & for my other dreams..

I also love to have a small kitchen garden &

green house. This way i can have my own vegetables

and i can buy exotic plants :)
