time 4 fun scrapping

First things first.. I signed up for old scrapclasses from Rachel. The fun thing is that everything is already on typepad :D So i deciced to print everything and make little books of them. Now i can sit in the garden and read all this inspiration instead of staring at the screen.. my eyes are also very happy :D

Just to get started i made 2 scrappages.. 1 from me when i was little and the other is a list of 10 things i love on sunday. It was so much fun to make these pages...

The last thing i want to end with is this... I was invited by only1duk on flickr. I checked his account and sites and looked on you tube. He lives in Londen & he can beter explain it to you.... this is what he wrote...

PASSIONATE ABOUT FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION
DUK CHURNS OUT PIECES WHICH ARE 'DROPPED' IN MASS AROUND CITY STREETS, TO BE ADOPTED AND GIVEN GOOD HOMES WITH THE PASSERS BY WHO LIKE THE LOOK OF THEM
CREATING AND INSPIRING PEOPLE TO CREATE IS WHAT DUK IS ALL ABOUT

love

This morning I read Elsie's blog and saw these cute paintings!
I love the colors, they make me so happy.
I am going to paint myself today :)

I signed up for the art journal class from Rachel Denbow. I am soooo looking forward to that! I signed up and then looked in my planner.. oops I'm in Greece for a week in that period exactly. Gladly it works the same way as the spring RVA class. So I can look at all things on the site when I'm back.. yay!! Few pictures from the class (they're from Rachel)....

have a loving-sunny-magical-rainbow day :)

kundalini yoga

Today I followed my first kundalini yoga lesson. I really really liked it, so I am going to follow at least 1 lesson a week :)
Kundalini yoga is more then 5000 years old and is also called the mother of yoga. In the lessons there are exercises with pranayama (breathing), mantra's, mudra's (handpossitions) and meditations. These exercises will make your nerve system and immune system stronger.

At the end of each lesson we drink yogi tea together. It seemed there was a woman who followed this lesson, so that she could write an article about it in a yoga magazine. She took pictures afterwards... I am curious what she is going to write :)

beautiful things in life

Yeeee.. When I came back from my little getaway vacation in Belgium my pakkage from RVA was here :) All cute stuff inside incluiding a picture from Elsie. She made a lot off pictures and made them a little like a fortune cookie. On every photo there is a different message, mine is: 'Hi love. i hope your day is magical. xo Elsie' And who doesn't need a little MAGIC in life ;)

Last weekend my love & I had a lovely evening. Just the 2 off us, at home, candles and this beautiful movie...

As I am working on this weblog I am listening to the cd from Blof (a Dutch band). The cd is named April. The lyrics are so touching.. and make me think about things. It also inspired me for this painting. In black is written 'dagen zonder namen' and that means days without a name...

Something to think about....

for my mum

I made this little painting for my mum yesterday.
We usually don't do much on mothersday, because my mother likes it more if we surprise her during the year with flowers, drinking coffee, go shopping, have lunch :)
My mother enjoyed mothersday the most when we we were young.
We made our own little presents at school, sometimes with a little poem.

This morning I went over to surprise here with this little painting & she was very happy with it!
We drank coffee in the garden and talked... it's such a pretty day today :)

Wishing everybody a lovely day :)
